Call It Inspiration
Time to post the next T-party Challenge. This one comes to us from Trish, and as far as challenges go, it falls into the category called "inspirational."
I'm trying not to panic because inspirational challenges are supposed to be super easy... After all, ANYTHING taken from the piece is fair game for one's creative muse -- color, layout, subject matter, style, theme, etc. Truth be told, however, I am such a concrete, love those limits, kind of gal, that when I look at this, instead of inspiration, I feel sheer terror!
The good thing is I have a whole week to work up the courage to endeavor. BTW, have you seen Nim's Island starring Jodie Foster? Well, attempting this challenge for me, is similar to Alex leaving the house to get in the taxi... Alex is severely agoraphobic.
Recognizing an opportunity to grow, but anticipating a hard go,
Susan T.

Well, my ideas for this and the reality of it did not come together, lol, but I had fun!http://encouragingimpressions.blogspot.com/

This looks like so much fun! I love unique challenges like this, Trish!
Of course, I may feel differently after I've actually started, lol!

Take deep breaths, Susan! LOL...I'm sure you'll be fine. Trish has some excellent advice. I don't actually jot anything down, but I have a similar strategy with these challenges.
I'm really hoping to have time to play with you guys this time!

Oops, I wasn't trying to terrify anyone!! :) When I initially discovered "Inspiration Challenges" I found them a bit overwhelming - I'd keep looking a the pic, seeing something different each time. Now I tend to look once or twice, jot down what element(s) I want to incorporate into my card, then head off to make something without looking at the picture again. Don't know if that works for you or not, but it's a thought...
BTW, love Nim's Island!
