None of my children have ever believed in Santa Claus, and yet, each one has enjoyed wearing a Santa hat, and/or "playing Santa" when presents were passed out on Christmas morning... Hence this year's "just for fun" Christmas card using stamps from Merry Mix and Bear-y Good Friends:
Inside, what else but this:
Card details are all basic "see it, do it" techniques except for the hat which was stamped in a red ink on red paper, and cut out. The brim and pompom were then painted with white, acrylic paint. After the paint dried, white stencil paste was dabbed over the same areas, and ultra fine glitter was sprinkled over the wet paste. The hat was then allowed to dry overnight. Note: Stencil paste was simply what I had within reach -- Any faux snow product available at any craft store, or even spackle, available in any home improvement department, or at the hardware store are good substitutions.
Ho, Ho, Hope yours is merry,
