This is the sketch for Less Is More challenge #34, and below is the super easy, CAS card I entered.
Stamps: smARTworks from Autumn Leaves
Card Size: 4.25" x 4.25" top-folded
Paper: 130 lb. white stock
Inks: Black - Versafine, Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves
The center color on the Autumn Leaves ink pad is dark brown, but in real life, the maple tree that sourced the leaf, that made the nature print, that created the stamp, doesn't sport much brown in its leaves, so at first I had difficulty inking my image... Then I discovered that by holding my stamp on the diagonal, I could "half ink" the stamp with green & yellow, turn the stamp around, and ink the other "half" with red & orange. I also found that by varying the angle of the diagonal, some very pleasing blending was created. After that, I just gave the inked stamp a "huff and a puff," and pressed the ink to the paper. Looks almost real... A thing of beauty! A joy forever!
