It's Tea Party day again, and Cookie hostess, Giovana, challenged us to create a 'shaped' card...
Due to the busy-ness of the week, I have chosen to sit this one out, BUT thanks to guest designer, Sarah Stainback, I still have something wicked cute to show you.
Sarah used a saying from stamp set WD-209 Hats, and created this darling polka dotted chapeau:
I'm not sure if Sarah created her own template or not, but the polka dot paper is a printed cardstock -- nice and sturdy. Everything else is pretty much 'look and see'... brim edged with ink, a Swiss dot, ribbon band, and silk flower embellishments with button centers. Buttons that BTW, started out white, and were colored blue to match the card.
Just imagine doing this in a smaller size for place cards or name tags at a Mother's Day luncheon... Too precious for words!
Wonder what shape the other Cookies are in today? Check them out at:
Thanks for stopping by,
