I truly enjoyed reading all of the 'snapshot in time' entries. While some brought a smile to my lips, and others a tear to my eye, each one was so special... I feel most privileged to have been given a glimpse into these very treasured moments.
In reading each entry, I was not only blessed, but also reminded how all of life -- good or bad, happy or sad, is sort of like a series of snapshots complied together into various albums that each of us keeps filed away in our hearts and minds... How good God is to have given humanity the ability to remember --with it we can relive happy times, and also have the ability to 'gather flowers in winter'.
Congratulations to random winner Rhonda! As soon as your contact info. has been e-mailed to me at smARTworks, a set of Watch Parts will be popped into the mail, and on its way to you.
Now for a 'snapshot' card I made awhile back, but somehow never posted...
Size: 4.25" x 5.5" Stamps: FL-15 Grow, and WD-37 Grow Friends (each still available in single set format at 50%off) Punches: Filmstrip border by All Night Media, Deckle-edged stacking square by McGill Inks: Fluid Chalk - Blue Iris, Wisteria, Yellow Cadmium, Tangerine, Lime Pastel. Technique: Direct ink to rubber. Flowers were stamped on deckled squares before squares were attached to 'filmstrip'. Orange glitter glue was applied to flower centers.
By the way, should you visit the smARTworks' Customer Gallery, and find anything other than the chronological order of cards amiss, please let me know -- Earlier in the week I was doing a bit of 'housekeeping', and inadvertently deleted the entire gallery (~BIG groan!)... Had to rifle back though files, re-load/re-post, and try to remember what all my old abbreviations stood for, etc.
Hope you have a memorably happy weekend,
Susan T.
