This week's Less Is More Challege was to create an "Off Center" CAS card.
At first, I thought it would be easy because most of the cards I've already submitted for previous challenges have been just that -- off center with layouts shifted toward the side, top, or bottom. Then I began to overthink the concept, and for some reason it became difficult -- Either the layout was off center, but not very clean & simple, or clean & simple, but not very off centered. Good grief! I finally decided to stop messing about, and just choose one... Not a lot of stamping, I'm afraid, but bright & cheery, and perfect for the intended recipient who has just gotten through a very lengthy recovery from complicated eye surgery.
Stamps: smARTworks from Faith Quotes
Card Size: 4" x 5" - cut long, top-folded
Ink: Brilliance Victorian Violet
Punches/Dies: Edger (Martha Stewart), Flourishes (Marianne Creatables), Flower (Joy Craft)
Print: Candy Blossoms pad (atd by Momenta)
Other: The solid, purple strip of cardstock was embossed (QuicKutz), then edge punched. Foam tape was sandwiched between the medium and large flower layers.
